So I just found out that one of my pieces got into my first juried show...the Eccles Gallery 14th Black and White Show! If you happen to live in the Ogden area, please be sure to check out this show! It is located at 2580 Jefferson Avenue Ogden, Utah 84401. The exhibit is up until March 29th. This was a surprise for me because my painting teacher Sue had a piece for this show as well, and wouldn't you know it...her piece didn't make it in, but MINE did!!! Isn't that neat?

Tonight was the First Friday art stroll too. We celebrated the evening with a fine meal with the gang and plenty of culture. I cannot tell you how tickled I was to see my artwork up on the wall in an actual gallery! I feel so official. Like I have finally come into my own. I'm an artiste!
