AmBank Invitational Art Show

I submitted one of my paintings into the AmBank Invitational Art show that my painting teacher Sue Parkinson has organized to help raise money for a scholarship fund.  This show is AMAZING! It is at the AmBank located at 3670 North University Provo, UT. Sue was able to get a bunch of local artists and students to donate artwork to display and sell.  The show runs now through Jan 19th.  Seriously!!  If you can make it out there to check it out...
DO IT!!

Red Show -- Terra Nova Gallery

I am so excited to announce that I have another piece in an upcoming show...Red at Terra Nova Gallery 41 W 300 N Provo, UT.

This show runs this Friday, February 7th through the 27th.  There will be an artists reception this Friday from 6:00pm-9:00pm.  As the name of the show entails, it is about all things red, so of course I had to submit my LOVE watercolor piece from last year.

Provo Photo Contest

I made a resolution this year that I would enter more art contests and get my work OUT THERE!!  I made the decision last semester to earn a BFA degree and go on to grad school to get an MFA (gulp!).  So, to build up my resume and impress all those wonderful institutions of higher education, I will be do my utmost to submit as many of my creations as possible!

Mayor Curtis of Provo announced last week a city-wide photography contest celebrating our great city!  I have entered three of my works!  About seven-ish years ago, I took a photography class at UVU.  For our final project, we had to do a photo documentary on any subject of our choice.  Having been born and raised in Provo, I decided to do a "Best & Worst of Provo" project.  Behold the "best":
